There is another thread in existance with all the photos and text still up. I would link everyone but I don't know if the OP would like that since these problems might just foul up that thread too.

It only has a couple of the pics if it's the one I just found, but better than none, I would really like to here how all of that work works out for him.

In engineering, the purpose of documentation is to record exactly what you did, so a failure is an example to learn from on the next endeavor. If the pinion angle was simply off, cant the work be salvaged by moving the mounting holes to suit?

Re: Roll bar and C4 IRS swap project
thats what i dont get.
its not like anything was really wrong.
he just mentioned that he wanted to keep a 2* pinion angle, and had to pull the trans up into the car to make it work correctly.
no problem IMO
i was curious how the console would work out, but thats about it as far as trouble from cutting the floor up

Re: Roll bar and C4 IRS swap project
the op has a tko trans correct? as most people with that trans have noticed, its too tall for the tunnel and sits in a slights downward angle toward the rear of the car. With all the other sheetmetal work done, and being a race car, i dont see why it would be a big deal to clearance the trans hump to raist the trans a little more to get the correct pinion angle?
I think there was a little overreaction to comments, i dont see the need to erase the entire thread because of a disagreements with one or two people. IMHO.

I can't blame 1MeanZ, I'd have done the same, probably the first time this thread headed in that direction. It sucks to lose the info though.
