where to find some billet grill type material
hey guys, im gonna start workin on my interior here in a couple months, and im planning on fiberglassing my stock dash pad. its cracked to hell, and has some pioneer 6x9 speaker grills screwed into it. ugh...
anyway, the plan is to fill in the cracks with some good bondo, or the that glass bondo, then put a nice solid sheet across the whole thing, sand it....you know the drill.
but, i was thinking about for the speaker grills, doing a billet grill type thing. kinda like the little deals on the fenders of a bmw m3.
i think this would look sweet if i could sink the edges of this grill into the dash, almost like glassing over it.
anyone know who makes custom billet?
thanks
and i am def open to opinions on this. im eventually gonna carry it over to the center console and door panels.

wow, you must really like oasis!
call a custom wheel place with your design, and be prepared to drop some scratch.

Look on eBay. You can find sheets of grill material that you can cut to whatever shape you want.

It's basically a chunk of whatever metal you're looking for.. aluminum, steel, stainless, etc. You have to machine it down.
A real "billet grille" would be machined down from a big chunk of metal. You're talking major cost, both for the steel and the machining. You're better off finding some square stock and welding up what you want.
