Boxed a-arms

I HATE THIS NEW SITE!

Just had to get that out.

Does anyone have any pictures of boxed a-arms? I'm doing it tonight and I'm going off of memory. I'm bracing by the bushings and then from the outer to the spring cup. Any help would be appreciated!

What? Is it the fact that the headers take up half the screen? Or the Reply window takes three minutes to load? Or that the signatures and avatars take up all your bandwidth and push the text off the screen? You can adjust a lot of that in your PHP settings (Control Panel) and browser settings. Then again, if you're using MS Internet Destroyer, you might be screwed.

I don't have the picture here, as i'm not at home... you could try searching for it? "strengthening A-arms"...
I heard it wasn't a ton of help though.

basically 1"x1/8" strip of steel, maybe 2" long... put it over the ears to strengthen it, slightly outwards of the spring pocket, then one more just inside of the spring pocket...

hope that helps.

Or the Reply window takes three minutes to load
oh good, I thought that was just me, it takes a really long time to make the post itself... sheesh...

Same way I always do, I line up the cut end with the spindle knuckle. Is that what those holes are supposed to be used for? My welder friend got a little crazy with the welds, at least they were deep.
