crossfire to crossram??????????

crossfire to crossram??????????

has anyone tried to make a crossfire setup work 4 carb .like the old crossram setup. just tryin to see if this crossram is worth anything more than scrap. let me hear youre ideas

Axle/Gears: 2.73 posi, 3.06 posi
I came VERY close to trying it about a year ago, and I did alot of research. From what I found, all you'd have to do is make your own top plate to mount two carbs and then create a linkage between the carbs. Do a search on it, and you'll find a few threads by me about doing this.

The reason I didn't do it was because even with two Holleys on top, it just wouldn't make enough power to be worth the effort, becausethe intake base sucks. It would be great as a show peice though!

Don't know if he's around anymore, I haven't really looked. You could do a search on his username and see when he last posted if you wanted to.

I never did see any pics of what he did BTW.
