I don't have any over here but I know there made out of, soft very low carbon ****y stamped and spot welded steel and are heavy.
Even by making them out of heavy tube steel they will probly be lighter and way stiffer.

The after market ones are made of mild steel or chrome-molybendium steel.
Mine will be grade 9 Titanium.

There are a few reasons I am useing Titanium.
1, Becasue I can.
There were people that said I couldn't do it.
It will **** them off when I prove them wrong.
It is light, it is a little heaver then Al but as strong as steel.
I think Titanium fabication will be a valueable skill.
I could clone T.A.'s and frount LCA's with my sources of cheap Ti stock and welding wire (I would make one sell one, only if I have them on hand, no GP's, some of my Ti has to go through DHL).
No one else will have one.
Ricers won't have any thing like it.
The key for my V6 is it's lightness.
My car will be faster.

I wasnt trying to discourage you I am 100% behind you on this. If I could I would aswell, especially for the a-arms, thats one place you need alot of strength.

2 issues with Ti:
- unless you’re really good with controlling the HAZ or can heat treat after you’re done you’ll end up with a piece with brittle sections… not a great thing for a suspension part.
- Ti is completely intolerant of any scratches, nicks, marks… they become stress risers where cracks start. Again, not a good idea for suspension parts.

The sctatch problem sounds a lot like a beta alloy thing, they are reasy strong but crack easy and you can't weld them.
They use beta alloys for armor plates and stuff like that, armor plate is the most common use I have beenable to find for them.
Grade 9, 6Al-4V, AMS 4956 (all the same thing) are an alpa-beta alloy they arn't as strong but resist stress fractures and make excellent structeral materal.
Steel will do the same thing if it has a stress riser.
Also it is very very corrosion resistant.
