firebird/ta headlight mod pics.
Here are a few pics of my friend head light mod, he guted out the flip up headlight mechanisms to save weight up front "it's a drag car" and it came out lookin very good, spent 30 on the lights and at night when he's driving it looks like he's got his brights on. if I don't get my lazy eye flip up lights to work I'm going this route
total time ot get this one was less than 1hr.

cannot graft fiberglass onto steel, he doesn't care anyways.
I'm pretty sure there pilot 55W foglights.
Those are the only pic as of now, it looks just as good during the say as it does at night, give the bird a more aggressive look.

Cool. I've decided to do something like that with my car. I have the lights ready, just waiting until I'm physically able to work on the car again.
Show us some more pics - daylight and close-up!
thanks,

Thats my car.....I used some pilot 55 watt "driving lights", they are HID wanna-be's, but they were cheap and they work great. I have excellent vision at night with these, and they look 100% legal, they use a standard H3 halogen bulb. I'm not sure if I'll graft the light doors to the hood or not.....maybe. here's a daytime pic:

Somebody (can't remember if its VFN or US Bodysource) makes a pin on style fiberglass Firebird hood without the cutouts for the headlights. I don't think it has a scoop of any kind (just a flat hood), but its designed so you can bond on your own cowl or pro stock-syle scoop.
Lights look great BTW!
