Z28 fiberglass SMC hood with functional hood air induction flaps - RPO LU5. The solenoid and flaps are in working order. Would need additional work for show car. This is a very nice, hard to find piece.
I posted a question on this site a couple months back asking what this hood is worth. I recieved no responces.
So I am starting at $1000.

Those hoods usually go for 150-200. What is your location?

I am in Cleveland. From what I have seen, the regular fiberglass hoods with fixed flaps go for 150-200. I have not seen another with functional induction flaps in the recent month that I have been searching.

Even the fiberglass ones I've seen are $150-$200, but they all seem to have something wrong weather it be the flaps or corners chipped/seperating. Thats the cleanest SMC hood I've ever seen. The underside of the hood looks brand new! Had I not picked one up last year, I'd be all over this one. Good luck with the sale. For some reason, these hood seem to linger around for a bit. Probably cause they were offered for only a few years. Also, I'm not 100% sure but I think the non-functional hoods are steel. I know for sure some of them are, but don't know if all are.
