Hi, just doing a little late spring cleaning. I have for sale:
- 2 x Boyd Coddington 16 in Spectums w/ BFGoodrich g-force sports 245/50R16’s. About 70% Tread left.



Boyd Coddington Spectrums. The chrome is starting to show its age but overall they are in pretty good condition. I am asking $175 for the wheels and would prefer local pick up but shipping is not out of the question. PM if interested or if you have any questions. - Jeff

Well i'm still working on an ID, I sent an e-mail to the Boyd Coddington website but you know how those things usually work. They don't keep up the best archive of all the wheels they have done in the past either. After a closer inspection I am guessing that they are the previous generation of Legacy Series Spectrums. However, the wheels that I am selling are 16 in and they don't make new Spectrums smaller than 17 in. Hopefully someone at Boyd Coddington's is still alive to shoot me an e-mail.

Here's a rodders rendering of what the spectrums looked like in '99. Definitely more resemblance than new spectrums.

yeah they do look very similar to the spectrum wheels. im gunna do some research on them myself.

E-mailed Boyd Coddington wheels the other day: Awesome customer service. Here is the reply:

those are Spectrum's. They look completely different in a standard rim shell (we do most of them now in a soft lip shell.) We still build that wheel.
