That's ridiculous if you're actually serious about traveling from Texas to Delaware. I'll take some new pictures of it when the sun comes up a little more since my camera is horrible inside.
This place sells them used for $35.
http://www.tacreationsusa.com/3rd_brake_lights.htm
May as well check with them before you travel an insane distance.
I'm really not one to talk though. When I was looking for my Mustang, I was looking for a very specific car. Had to be a 2001-2004 GT, had to be silver, manual, preferrably black leather interior, less than 100,000 miles, and $7,000 or less. Tough car to find that cheap. I was getting ready to drive to California for one right before mine popped up, 10 miles from me, listed at exactly $7,000.

Re: 1986 IROC Part Out (Interior & Exterior)
Bump. Really wanna get some of the bigger stuff gone to clear out my house and garage a little bit. So hopefully someone local can come take some stuff off my hands.
SEATS - Full set of grey cloth seats from my IROC W/ only 99K on them, power driver seat, $300 or make an offer!
HOOD - My original IROC hood (louvers not in great shape, few studs broken off, but I'll throw them in if you want) $150 or make an offer!
Some pictures since not everyone always checks out the first page:
Also, arm rests, not exactly on the top of my list to get rid of, but I'll repost their picture anyway. Make an offer.
Radio/heat & AC trim plate, plus shifter plate, AC & heat controls, and lower console still up for grabs.

Bump. Just unexpectedly picked up a Vortech supercharger since it was a good deal. Want some extra cash for a fuel pump and tuning.
Also, anyone who might also own a Mustang, I have a Steeda functional race wing for sale. It's for the '01-'04 bolt pattern, but can be made to fit basically any 1994-2004.

This is probably the best one I have before everything was torn down, but I can grab pictures of the hood it's self tomorrow.
As you can see it's been off for quite a while.

Also, the hood has pretty minor dings in it, that could be pulled out when it's being repainted. But then again I'm pretty much giving it away at $100.

Ok if you can get some better pics of it and the dings in it,I would appreciate it. I can probably pick it up this weekend if it ok.

That's cool. My camera sucks, but I'll go get some pictures real quick and try to see if I can point out the couple dings in it.
On a side note, glad I took them heads to the junkyard. They weigh 93 pounds a pair, got $10 for them, $30 for one cat, $10 for some soda cans. Soda cans FTW! $50 for cleaning up the garage aint too bad at all.

Re: 1986 IROC Part Out (Interior & Exterior)
The dings aren't even as bad as I thought. I couldn't spot the one for a couple minutes, I had to slide my hand over the hood to feel for it. One is an actual ding, one is where the metal like bubbled and just needs to be flattened back down. Looks pretty much perfect as is except for the cracking paint, but of course you'll most likely have it repainted.
Can't see it in that picture so I circled them.
And here's the back side showing the original catalyst sticker from July of 1986 that reads "5.0 Liter" since it was originally a 305 car, of course since it's an '86.

Re: 1986 IROC Part Out (Interior & Exterior)
Since it's not a 100% part out and this car will see the road again at some point, I can't sell the shifter plate. I have no use for the stock shifter it's self if you want that though, it'll eventually have a manual 700R4, so I'll just be sticking a ratchet in.

So much for having the hood sold three weeks ago.......
Already took the heads to the junkyard, doors and the hood will probably be next as soon as I feel like drilling out the motor rivets to get the glass out of the doors.

Re: 1986 IROC Part Out (Interior & Exterior)
Finally sold the 700R4 and torque converter for $200. Arm rests, coolant overflow tank, and washer fluid tank are going tomorrow for $75.
What I have left:
Hood
Full set of grey/black carpet interior plastics
Full set of grey cloth seats still
Gonna keep the upper console, but still selling the lower console, radio trim plate, AC and heat controls

Re: 1986 IROC Part Out (Interior & Exterior)
Sorry, can't sell that. I should have mentioned this is a part out except for all of the very basics needed to legally drive the car. Lights, wheels, any steering components, any fuel system parts, etc.
This is all I can really sell right now:
Hood
Full set of grey/black carpet interior plastics
Full set of grey cloth seats still
Gonna keep the upper console, but still selling the lower console, radio trim plate, AC and heat controls
