Im thinking of doing a custom 3 inch single exhaust catback with the moroso spiral muffler. has anyone had any experience with it? is it too loud for street use? any info would be helpful.

Do a search for CarNDrvr (user name). He has (had?) dual exhaust that used the moroso spirals. I emailed him about them a while ago and he had nothing but good things to say about sound, durability (after 2 years, I think). He did say that they were incredibly loud, though. Then again, when you find his car, you'll see why they were loud.

 

thanks, i can probably get it a bit quieter with a cat. should I place the spirals at the back of the piping or at the center. I heard placing any muffler at the center of the piping gives you a deeper sound. But I should get the system by next month, I'll post a recording if anyone is interested.
