Don't put header wrap on, it will only cause problems, such as fire or moisture trapping causing faster rusting. This is what I would do. Jegs sells some heat sleeving that goes over plug wires. Comes in 10ft lengths at about $12 or so. Protects up to 1200* and should work perfect. I use it on my plug wires and am very happy, just a thought.

well i figured out my problem, dont laugh too hard!! well my throtle was sticking, so it was keeping my RPM's at 2000, then when i went to stop,, the car was still pushing. SO i thought it was the heat from the headers, but its not, the car is all fixxed and runs great now. and stops half decent as well. thanks for your help anyways. (i just bought some header wrap **** that cost me 45 bucks too!! but i havent opend it yet!)
