Has anyone used dynomat

I am planning on installing an exhaust about like what is in the picture. I know it will be loud inside. I am going to have to take my seats out when I have the sfcs installed, and was wondering if anyone has used dynomat. I was thinking about lining my floorboard with it. How much do you think it would help. I like my car to be loud but do not want to go deaf.

I used the original stuff back in 96' to keep my chrome panals from rattling from my subwoofers and it did a pretty good job of reflecting the sound waves back into the car. The only issue I can think of that you might have is heat reflection or absorbtion. By that, I mean, I'm not sure if it will reflect the heat away from your butt, or absorb it into the car therefore giving you a really hot floorboard.

Has anyone else used it? Any other opinions. I know that they make a special dynomat that has a layer of alum or something to reflect heat.

No, I am talking inside the car. Like lining the floorboards and rear hatch area with a extra sound insilator. Also, if I undercoated my car would that help reduce the inside sound also?

Use a spray on sound deadener like B-Quiet inside on the floorboards. Do not undercoat the exterior floorboards. It's ugly, does more harm than good by trapping moisture, rotting the metal, then hiding it so you don't know it until your foot goes through the floor. It can also mess up the parking brake and throw the driveshaft out of balance if they get any of that crap on them (and they most likely will).

You can use Dynamat, but it's performance doesn't quite justify the expense. If you're concerned about the heat, a thin sheetmetal shield spaced off the floor between it and the exhaust components will work fine, but I doubt you'll really have any problems with the heat.

First off, I am not really that worried about heat. I just want to keep interior exhaust noise down a bit. Would this "B-Quiet" or something like dynomat be more effective? I will spend the money on dynomat if it is more effective but if there is something that is better let me know.
