Hi, i just had my enging rebuilt and im looking to redo my exhaust system. The engine was bored .030 over, has flat top pistons , ported heads, and a bigger cam. I am going to have a muffler shop custom build me a true dual exhaust and i want to know if 2.5 in piping is too big. Im also gonna have them build an x pipe.well thaks for the help.

Just out of curiosity...

What kind of engine do you have?

305?
350?
383?
173?

What induction do you have? Headers? How "big" of a cam? What heads?

2.5" probably isn't too big, unless it is a 173...
