Neeed Header recommendation
Have a 85 L69 Iroc, 350ci 300Hp crate motor w/ Holley sniper EFI. (Yes I still have the orig. motor) Car runs and drives great until today when I blew the exhaust o ring gasket. The exhaust on it is a Edelbrock with header 6874. These have been problematic for eventually burning my wires and other BS. I want to replace the headers and y pipe but keep my single cat and exhaust. Any bolt on recommendations?

I'll be following along. Longtubes for these cars is like finding the perfect woman.
Seems like before my motor swap I went through 2 or 3 different types before I settled on the dreadful, shorties. I'm curious to what works for others.
It's been so long since I drove mine with the 5.7L TPI. I may have had longtubes. I do remember this however, the passenger side never bolted up 100% at the collector/ypipe. The sweet smell of exhaust on my clothes each time I drove it

Dyno don headers are the best I've seen for a sbc in these cars. I had edelbrocks and swapped the. For dons. They're awesome. Here are some pics w my old edelbrocks. Dons are larger tubes and fit better.
