what type of exhaust is this??
I bought my car in the early fall now tell me what this exhaust is its a 3 inch single pipe coming off the pasenger side of my car it comes back to my muffler, and then splits into dual exhaust with chrome straight pipes out the rear just wonderin?? any special name or anything?

Sounds to me like you have a stock exhaust system on your car. Thats the stock routing anyway, a single pipe along the passenger side with the muffler sideways under the trunk, with two tailpipes. It may actually be aftermarket though, as I don't believe any 305 TBI's came with 3inch exhaust.

yeah the guy i bought it from said he had just put a performance exhaust on it so its not stock... just thought this exhaust may have had some special name...

did you take it off or is on the car... check the muffler, most aftermarket mufflers with that same install usualy have the brand stamped on the muffler side that is facing up,
ex a flowmaster muffler would say flowmaster, but the side that has the name is hidden and faces up(when installed)...
3 inch piping isnt stock...
call that guy up or some how talk to him and get all the fixes/upgrades he has done to the car...

Kinda sounds like my Applied tech exhaust except for the chromme tips. this system is all 3" very smilar to a stock setup.
