will running straight pipes make the car run different
hey everyone i have a 85 z28 with a 350 in it i have hooker headers 3 inch true dual exhaust to 2 flowmasters no cats or resonators. well on my way to work today the driver side muffler fell off lol i was planing on replacing the mufflers anyway. now the question is if i do straight pipes will the car run any richer or different then it would with the mufflers besides the smell?

How rich or lean your car runs is based on what introduces fuel into your motor, and how it's adjusted.

i forgot to add that its carburated i m new to this scene so thats y i m confused lol so pretty much removin the mufflers will not cause the motor to run any different then right

It'll make it louder, you may or may not lose a little bit of low end torque due to less back pressure, you'll smell like exhaust if you don't route it to the rear, you may feel it pull slightly more rpm's, due to less backpressure. A slight hp gain.

alright sweet thank you, it sounds alot louder then what it did, pretty much heres what the exhaust looked like
what i m going to do is where the mufflers are i m just puttin exhaust tips so i ll be eliminating the mufflers. heres what it sounds like as now
