Spintech Croosflow
I know this has probably been covered a time or two but I just want as straight an answer as I can get. How bad will a Spintech Sportsman Crossflow muffler hurt performance, always heard anything crossflow doesnt flow well.

If you look at the design of their muffler I would be really surprised if it would be any worse then anything else.

Figures as much. I'm really wanting 2 tailpipes but not enough ground clearance for true dials. I'm torn between a 50 series flow, an 80 series flow, and a sportsman spintech. I'll prolly go with the spintech because I want a lil different sound than everyone else's flowmaster.

Re: Spintech Croosflow
It will definitely flow better than an 80 series, possibly better than a 50 series (the standard flow flowmasters are sort of a tuning issue, depending on where they are in the tailpipe, the total configuration... they may work quite well or might not work well at all, it's not as simple as "they flow X so they should be OK).
If you want a crossflow I would suggest magnaflow, dynomax ultraflow welded, spintech and maybe a hooker aerochamber (in roughly that order, the first 2 and the last 2 are very close) if you care about power... I would probably do the ultraflow (I've had them on a bunch of cars myself, also have a 4"in, 2x3" out spintech...).
the hooker is probably one of the best sounding mufflers out there, of course that's subjective, I love the sound, you may not (I don't like what flowmasters sound like on most cars)

Re: Spintech Croosflow
I got a spintech with 4 inch in and two 3 inch out. It made over 400hp at the rear wheels with a bad pump and regulator. It is the best sounding muffler I have ever heard . I have had about all of them. Borla is my second favorite.

That's reassuring. That's what I wanted to hear. Ill probably go for the Spintech. Don't know if I'll go with the 4" inlet though. All I should need is mandrel bent 3 inch pipe from the shorty's back. I may go with a 3.5" inlet and dual 3" outlets. Thanks for the testimonial/input on the matter, it is appreciated.

Anyone have a part number for a 3.5 inlet crossflow? Their site is a bit confusing.
