I went to un bolt the y pipe from the manifold and cant get em loose, also are they 5/8 inch bolts or 15mm cause my 14 is to small and the 5/8 is a lil loose but i aint got a 15mm

Re: need advice on removeing bolts

exhaust bolts are always horrible. spray em down a few times with penetrating oil (like PB blaster), let the soak as long as you can. Do not go all out and try to remove them in one shot, you may snap them. take your time, loosen up a few turns, tighten up a turn or two, and repeat. Rotate through the hardware so nothing gets too hot and it will lessen your chances of any "oops"

Re: need advice on removeing bolts

since your replacing the y and manifolds i would just be cautious of the bolts going into the heads the other 4 i wouldnt worry about breaking since your gonna get rid of them anyways

Bolts should be 9/16" head. Of course, you're replacing them right?
