It will "fit", but your I-pipe outlet and the 80-series inlet aren't the same size.

They make adapters that should be able to fix this problem.I would talk to a Muffler Shop and see if it can be done without major modification.

I found this link to " Jegs Proformance" = http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/KeywordSearchCmd?Ne=1+2+3+13+1147708&Ntt=FLOWMASTER+80+SERIES+MUFFLER&Ntk=all&langId=-1&storeId=10001&Jnar=0&N=0&catalogId=10002&itemPerPage=90
This is were I bought my American Thunder Cat back. You can chose either the 2 1/2in or a 3in. inlet. Give them a call and ask them any questions you may have. Also ask for their free catalog. If your going to up grade to a 3in. exhaust why not buy the hole cat back?

Re: Will the 80 series flowmaster fit my camaro?
Under the video he has written that its a muffler and some tips.Thats all he says so its probably stock to the muffler. Its hard to gage how loud a muffler is in a video because you control the volume at your computer. This will give you a idea of how it will sound and IMO its "close" to twice as loud as stock. You can really tell the difference after the car has warmed up and out of open loop. It has a louder, deeper more aggressive sound. Here's the video = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSh0Q...el_video_title
I thought I would show you what I did with the tips on my mine. Here's two photos of the 3in. exit pipes/3in. tips that are running into the 80 series muffler that is part of the Flowmaster American Thunder cat back system. You can see I cut the tips back about 6in. because I wanted them tucked under. You can still see them from behind and that's exactly what I wonted. I guess if you have to buy the tips that are being installed on the muffler you can pick and choose what style you want. If you choose to go with the Flowmaster and if you have the money I would install the complete 3in. system.

Re: Will the 80 series flowmaster fit my camaro?
My 305 with stock manifolds and 2.25 inch I-pipe was fairly loud with the flowmaster 80. Not ridiculously loud... In my opinion that's the desirable volume level for a sports car. I wish I could get my 350 down to that volume level sometimes.
But it will be much louder, but it wont compete with all the log trucks with glasspacks, so you'll be good. It'll probably be quieter on a v6, which is better, no one wants to hear a super loud v6. A reasonably loud one is a different story.
I think it'll be fine, and I wouldnt bother getting a new I-pipe unless yours is rusty. Just have an exhaust shop attach it at the back of the car with an adapter or whatever.

Re: Will the 80 series flowmaster fit my camaro?
The “suggestions” I gave you in my reply generally only applies to V-8's. I keep thinking a 3in. is a good idea but a 3in. cat back can be considered overkill on a stock V-6. The last thing I want to do is steer you in to spending money on something that is not “necessary”when the money could be spent elsewhere.Keep use posted to how everything turned out.
