Re: Which Y-pipe with 7qt oilpan...
I have a similar issue and fabed up a modified version of my edelbrock Y-pipe with it dropping bellow the oil pan/k frame, that brought a slight issue with high speeds (100mph) and spring divits in the road up in Canada I'm at stock ride height with 820lbs/in springs and I bottomed it out pretty hard and broke some welds on it, I'm currently toying with the idea of redisinging it to pass at the torque converter but I also have a 9.5in convertor so a little more room there just lose the dust cover to tuck up tighter and should be ok there but it is still some pretty extreme angles. I'm looking at maybee ordering this kit from Crap bay http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...#ht_2776wt_905 for the price its almost the same cost as ordering all the tight radius bends that I need to make a new Y-pipe to work
