flowmaster original 40's usually have a drone. I still like them. I am running a dynomax ultroflo now. do a search on the site for muffler recomendations and go to youtube and you can hear some.

Re: flowmaster mufflers?
flowmaster is sweet on (normal) daily drivers. i think its a common thing for guys with big power to ditch the FM's and aim for a more expensive muffler.

Re: flowmaster mufflers?
well If you like flowmaster's then I'd go ahead and use them. Throw some super 10's on there it'll be loud and sound mean.

Re: flowmaster mufflers?
I have 10 series, but not super 10's on my dodge charger. they were actually quieter than the original 40's

Re: flowmaster mufflers?
if you want loud go flowmasters, if you want performance go magnaflow. I honestly liked flowmasters, had them on all my f bodys, but after i found out how well they dont flow, i switched to magnaflow

Re: flowmaster mufflers?
There is barely a difference at the wheels when you dyno the two next to each other. This is coming from experience. On F bodys and Mustangs.
