new guy here plz needs some help with headers
Hi. im new to all the thirdgen stuff and i got myself a 1991 camaro rs
convert (thats the only reason i ever though of buying a rs is if it was a
convert one) so i was gona install some headers on it i was thinking
about the Hooker com Headers 2460HKR since chash is alil low i wanted
one i could use with the stock stuff one that just bolts on and later on i
wanted to remove the cat and put pipes from the headers to a dyno
max muffer is that a good idea? any tips or advise im new at this stuff
and thank you for reading

Re: new guy here plz needs some help with headers
I got no clue about in NY, but here in Colorado you must pass visual and smog, so removing the Cats not a good Idea from my angle. But have done it before and tried doing it in pieces a little here and a little there to not spend the money at once. My thoughts save and do it all cause if your going to do it do it right the first time and keep header gaskets handy they burn out a lot and will need replacing, because of this I am not a fan of aftermarket performance headers.
This is all I have to add.
