Chrome polish vs. cola myth tested!
I have taken pictures of my exhaust one was cleaned with cola using aluminum foil the other was cleaned using the leading brand name chrome polish.
The first picture is chrome polish and the second one with cola. As you can see the cola works much better as it removes surface rust and provides a nice shine. The third picture is of my IROC.

So you were watching that re-run today too and I tried to remove the haze on my paint with cola but no go...
Can't find anything to cut it, though I can wipe it around with a bare hand.

I have not tried aluminum foil and cola. But I know aluminum foil and white vinegar works wonders, but has a bad smell till you wash it with soap and water.

I have never heard of the vinegar one before but I can see how that would work. I should test to see which works best.
