1988 Camaro, Flowmaster Muffler??

How do y'all think a flowmaster would sound on a stock 88 Camaro Base model L03. I don't want a full exhaust right now, But i want to change the stock muffler to a Flowmaster, Like the 80 Series. I will eventually get a high flow cat, and then just a full exhaust. But would a muffler sound nice? Thanks

I'm happy with my flowmaster, it's the one that is labeled as a replacement for our cars... so I'm not certain which series it is... don't remember, however, I've had it for almost 7 years, so I'm thinking about replacing it with an SLP LM Cat back...
