Anybody running a similar setup?
After I drop the 355 back in I'm ditching the flowmaster setup. I'm going to be running hedman 68470 headers with a modified 17478 Y-pipe. I will be using a Magnaflow 3" in/out muffler in place of the cat and running it out the passenger side infront of the rear wheel. I am mainly interested to hear some soundclips of a similar set up as I'm trying to get away from that raspy pick-up truck sound most every stock styled catback has. Thanks.

Re: Anybody running a similar setup?
i have the same headers and y-pipe which i modified to be 3 inch outlet, i went with a cat back from Spintech. made 30 horse more at the wheels, and i think it sounds awesome, pretty loud though, there is a really good video on youtube of a camaro with a pretty healty motor in it for a sound clip, i was gonna post a link, but it says youtube is unavalible for some reason, just a thought, hope it helps

Re: Anybody running a similar setup?
I could only find 2 videos of 3rd gens with a spintech on youtube, and I didnt feel for either of them. It seems like no matter what brand they all have that same raspy attribute. The one video I can find of a 3rd gen running something similar to what I am doing sounds amazing! Here is the link www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouc1wPj2AxU, he's running Mac headers and Y into dual 3" pipes through dual Mac mufflers with turndowns, not quite the same, but closer than anything else I can find.
