cat hangers different?

I bought the catco 9118 and a new hanger for my cat. The hanger doesnt match up with my stock one. I think its for an automatic walker #35245.

Does anyone know where to get the correct cat hanger for a 88 5 speed single cat car?

Here's a kit to fix the OE hanger if you still have it (BTW, I use the fix with my Catco 9118):

Re: cat hangers different?

i have 2 of those walker kits but my mount is different bolt pattern, and the rubber looks too short. My catco cat has the same bolt pattern as my old one so this repair kit must be for an automatic only since my car has a five speed.

Did you have the walker 35245 mount? Was it a different bolt pattern?

I'm running a T-5 as noted in the above link. No problems with the repair kit and fitment.

Re: cat hangers different?

I think im gunna drill all three rivets out and swap the rubber over to the old hanger bracket with all bolts instead of welding and fabbing a new one. I was hoping someone ran into this problem before and had another p/n.
Like the parts guys always say "cut to fit".
