welcome to the site, always nice to have more thirdgens here. cant really help you with a good sytem, since everyones tastes are different, you have to be more specific on what you like, if you like deep and throaty, loud and raspy, somewere in between, or just flat out loud. Once you know what you like for sound then people can give closer examples of sytems to check out, or even good setups you can just experiment with, for example flows w and w/o cat that kinda thing. since you have a 350 you have much more options cuz personally a 305 w/o a cat sounds like a tractor, but a 350 sounds great w or w/ depending on sound your after. however back in my very poor days with my 91 bird 305 tbi, I used a y adapter pipe in place of the muffler (not from a y-pipe, just a 2 1/4" Y lookin thing about 6 inches long, dont know were to get one, my uncles shop was throwing it out), and ran a pipe out each side in the back, looked like normal tailpipes, and used a set of the dual glasspacked resonator tips from pepboys off the shelf, think they were pacesetters(hooker also has the same thing, only difference is hooker is black on inside of tips, pacesetter is yellow, exhaust carbon turns them black quickly anyways), on the end of each pipe, and it really sounded great, no muffler basically and all stock exhaust up to were the muffler would be. had a nice deep sound at idle and sounded great revving and wot, that was with the cat in place. tryed it without the cat and it sounded like crap, although sounded great revving up, but driving on the road it really sounded bad.

all i have to say is flowmasters, hedman headers no cat 3 inch y pipe and your car will sound amazing i can be heard from a good distance..there is so much bass from the exhaust that it cancels out the bass from the music, and i have a nice sound system too..... here is mine... my brother had magnaflow on his camaro and it was really quiet....
