Header question
I am looking to get new headers for my 1991 camaro z28 with a 305. I got done with the swap from tpi to carb. Anyone recommend which headers to get. Also do I need to replace the y pipe. The summit racing headers sum g9005 say the stock y pipe wont fit. The Hooker headers 68460 say nothing about if it will fit the the stock y pipe. Any ideas on which to get? Thanks

Re: Header question
no stock y pipes will fit, headers are longer than manifolds, and usually have a flat 3 bolt mounting flange instead of standard two bolt.
If you're looking for a inexpensive pair of headers, I like the flowtech..and they make a y pipe you can purchase with it if you like. Hooker headers are a great brand. Also, I have used sanderson headers as well.
