changing stock manifolds to headers
in the summer i planon installing these headers. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HE...1/?image=large
along with a magnaflow exaust system and a magnaflow cat converter.
how difficult will it be to remove the stock manifold and install the new headers?

Ditto on your tools availability, work space, garage equipment (jack stands, engine hoist, air tools), etc. Do you have an air compressor and cut-off wheel? Sawsall? Or, just a hack saw? Good hand tools?
Then, the condition of your current exhaust. Stuff in good shape is typically easier to unbolt, but rusted out stuff can be easier to cut out.
Personally, I'd give myself the weekend to do this type of a job. Start Friday evening, getting the car up on jack stands, soaking rusty bolts, removing what comes off easily, etc. Saturday to get everything off, cleaned up, start installing the new stuff. Sunday afternoon to get it buttoned up, started, and fix any little bugs.
Usually involves a couple of trips to the parts store for little things like exhaust hangers, gaskets, bolts, etc.

Re: changing stock manifolds to headers
I have the sum-g9005 installed on my '90 and it was easy considering the tools I had. Five7kid is right though, stupid rusty bolts can make the day rough.

Re: changing stock manifolds to headers
i never did it before and it was very easy. if you have a/c it will be more difficult but not impossible.
before you plan on doing it, get about 3 cans of pb blaster and for about 1 week or 2 go spray down all of the bolts once, twice a day. i did that and didnt break a stud. they came out like they were in peanutbutter.
sliding the headers in again depend on your engine compartment. (a/c) but bolting them up isnt bad

Just be sure to take your time and not get pissed when the manifold bolts arn't cooperating.
I also have a friend making up accessory bracket standoff studs if you are interested.
