Re: HEADERS HITTING A/C BOX
I have Dyno Don's Headers, so they are probably a bit different, but I was also having problems w/ the A/C box. They definately rubbed and made it difficult to get in. I had put the headers on the motor before I put the motor in the car. When I go the motor in, the header was touching the A/C box. It eventually got a bit of space between when the motor mounts and tranny mounts were seated all the way. I have new Poly motor and tranny mounts, and there is not a lot of room, maybe 1/4-3/8 of an inch now with everything seated. Hopefully it's enough where the heat won't melt the box.

Re: HEADERS HITTING A/C BOX
The Edelbrock TES headers I had didn't rub but the heat from the headers did a number on the box. This is what happened trying to take the a/c box out when switching to a standard heater box.
