your stock cat is 2 1/4 inch out so you can get an adapter and make it fit, but why? spend 130.00 and get the carb approved 3 inch in and out cat.

ok it was a direct bolt on. no adapter was needed it was just kind of annoying hooking all the pipes up by myself bec there only held on by 2 brackets near the muffler but overall very easy to swap and sounds amazing when i get on it it turns heads all over

Re: magnaflow 16829 350tpi camaro install
when they say direct bolt on they mean all the pipes are the right size. the dual pipes out the back are direct and so is the muffler into the stock position. the the ss pipes from the muffler, over the rear end and down the drive shaft and bent into where the cat is - is a direct bolt on. but its still a better 3 inch system and it sort of anticipates you will have a 3 inch system to bolt on to - like 2055 headers into a 3 inch y pipe into a 3 inch cat, but if you dont, well it will directly bolt up to the 2 1/4 with a single adapter. the important thing is the car back is a direct fit.

Looks good man, now where's the sound clips?!?!? lol. I'm thinkin about goin with a Magnaflow on my 87' Firebird, but I'm not sure. I've heard some people say it's too quiet and others say it's awesome. I could only find a few vids of the exhuast idling + some revving, then under low throttle and then at WOT, so if ya could get around to one of those kinds of vids, that'd be awesome, but even a plain old clip would be great. Anyways, lets hear it roar, lol, nice Camaro by the way.
