I saw and heard the 69 camaro chambered muffler dual exhaust run on a 3rd gen on a thread here. It sounded awesome but it's hard to tell just how loud it is. I've never heard chambered mufflers that I know of. How loud are they compared to glasspacks, flowmasters, magnaflows straight pipes and such.

I would love to put true duals on mine! I guess everybody does. LOL. One thing though, I live in Mississippi. There are ZERO emissions laws for used cars down here so I will absolutely not be putting cats on my car. Which I'm sure will be louder than his. Anybody heard these mufflers in person? Maybe on an older camaro? If they are pretty loud couldn't you run glass packs where the cat would normally go and then just run the pipes from them all the way out the back?

do a google search for GMMG exhaust. that is a chambered exhaust for the 4th gens and will work on 3rd gens. but it is only a single pipe in to them not like the dual set up on the 1st gens. there is a guy with a 4th gen ws6 near me who had the GMMG on and it sounded MEAN as all hell. but he had no cat so it had some popping to it. but WOT nothing sounded as good as far as im concerned!
