So I got indermy iroc to disconnect the exhaust from the enging and the bolts are so freaking rusted that no socket will work it just strips the rust on the bolt. Can I cut it and what should I use to cut it?

Re: trouble removing exhaust
dont cut anything.
go to your local gun store and buy a product called "break free". its 100 times better than wd40.
spray it on and the metal will absorb it. yes its that fine a product that it soaks into the metal.
wait a few hours and do it again and if it still does not work apply more and wait.
it gets deep inside and if it can be screwed in it can be unscrewed.
try it.

The bolts or the exhaust?
The bolts yes. You can probably get a dremel in to cut the heads or nuts off. If you do get the renforced discs. The other ones break real easy.
Don't know if you have room, but you could also try an exctractor. They make some that goes over the bolt head. Sears has them, wal mart might even have them now.
If you want to cut the exhauset, yes if your going to change the headers or maifolds.

SAwzall (reciprocating saw)and a metal blade and have fun. Like a hot knife through butter!
Possibly rent one from store if you don't have one or neighors don't either. It'd be worth the small amount of $ instead of headache of rusted bolts if everything is going to be junked
