You have to get an emissions-legal set that has a y-pipe. Edelbrock TES p/n 68743 fits the bill.

I was doing a lot of editing, not sure if you saw my final answer.
There are other headers available, but the TES are the only ones that would bolt in. You'd still have to modify the AC bracket (cut a leg off - not a big deal).

If you don't have it, the compressor will shake around and break other things. It's fine with the one leg cut off.
Somebody sells, or used to sell, a bracket that's already been modified. I can't locate it at the moment, though.

Re: bolt on headers
Edelbrocks the only header he can use with AIR and y-pipe?I was sure thier were others or is it another reason why you`re recomending tes.I thought they were one of the poorer headers we could get for our cars.Just asking.

They are the only ones with a y-pipe that will bolt directly to the stock cat. Bolt-in was the driving criteria. The "Y" joint itself is a little weird, but overall they're a good improvement over stock manifolds and y-pipe.
