fit like a glove, probably the easiest install i've ever done.. haha, next is an update for my headers. i love the sound.. its really not all that loud inside.. but once you get behind it it's ridiculous.. i'll post a video in a little bit, i had a straight pipe, and then a cheap-o knock off flowmaster from one of my accounts, and this system totally out performs it all, maybe its just me, best 430 bucks i spent

Re: SLP Loudmouth
which model did you go with the loud mouth 1 or 2? with the dual dual tips or just the single 3.5 inch slash tips? cause im thinking about going with the loud mouth 1 with the dual dual tips.

Re: SLP Loudmouth
Do all the SLP exhausts come with a no muffler option? One of their systems came with the project car I bought a little while ago and it's kind of strange. There is a 3" single mid pipe with it splitting into 2 after the axle with dual single sash cut 3" tips. But no muffler the guy I bought it from said he was just going to run a 3" cat and use that for back pressure and that the exhaust was a mix of multiple camaro kits. SLP wasn't very helpful in figuring out what this setup is. I don't want to put it on the car if it's going to be insanely loud. Any help would be great

Out of what 3 exhausts are you talking about. I have a flowmaster on the car now, but I can't see how a system with no muffler and just a cat would every sound good.

Re: SLP Loudmouth
SLP's system uses a Resonator in the I-pipe to control the sound. IMO, it's too raspy and thats why I'm using my Bullet instead. Sounds 10x better. I have Hooker headers, custom Y-pipe, 3" dynatech cat, 3" I-pipe with the bullet muffler and the LM after that with 3.5" tips. I like the single tips rather then the dual, but that's me. Sounds clips coming in a bit, more stuff to do to the car still.

All of the SLP loud mouth system I have heard are really loud, but have a terrible tractor-trailer type tone to them. That sounds like what I remember. They sound worse on the LS1 cars

Yeah I'm just going to sell the exhaust and cat. There is nothing wrong with my flowmaster setup i'll just install an electric dump inplace of the converter for the track. Or to **** off rice burners.

Re: SLP Loudmouth
If I had the choice I would pick the Loudmouth. I love that aggressive sound. Now mind you that I have a flowmaster system on my formula and I love it. But if I had the two of them I would def. go with the Loudmouth. -Bob

The vette owners are worse. They buy "muffler eliminators" which are literally straight pieces of pipe with hangers..

My brother had this exhaust on his 95 z28 vert. It is a little too raspy for my taste. It did sound really good at WOT though. The exhaust will drone you to death on long trips as well. He has a Magnaflow on his 99 z28 right now and that sounds amazing. I like my random technologies cat back. It has a real nice tone, not to raspy and gets real loud in the RPM's
