Cool, id like to see pics of that when its done. Bet that cost some dough...

Nice looking dual setup. Let me guess the reason for that y pipe...a big ugly transmission crossmember in the way?

I'm planning my dual setup for my car...and the spohn crossmember/torque arm setup is making things difficult.

Re: Complete Exhaust Ceramic Coated

I asked about doing the same thing back when I first out my exhaust on. I was told it would help but wouldn't be cost effective. I'd like to see how this turns out.

What is cost Effective? If you talking power thats correct. I am doing it for a good looking under carriage to compliment the rest of my car.
I will post some pictures when they come back. The turn around time is 10 days once they get in his shop which it should be there Monday by COB. The headers cost $225.00 to coat and the pipe is $14.00 per ft. I added up a total of 21.5ft.
I plan on spending $700.00 and get this done while waiting on my new AFR 195 Competition Eliminators to come in.

Here is a picture of exhaust clearance:

Re: Complete Exhaust Ceramic Coated

I had my 1967 Camaro exhaust system coated. it looks great and not sure if it added any power but was worth the $$$ to have it coated.

A) it was custom built and now won't rust

B) it looks great

C) most people don't do it so it adds extra points for looking good

D) it is my car and I wanted to do it

For my 82. I built the exhaust system out of stainless. When I did my 67, they took a long time and it said never again. Mine was oversize and they just kept giving me excuses on why it was taking so long.

He did a very good job and I was happy to find out the they was offering free shipping for the month of April. I still need to send my Milidon 7qt oil pan, which has been a PITA I have to pull the engine to remove that pan. Hopefully I can get that done by the latest next weekend
