Flowmaster single chamber bullet?
Let's not hear the "I hate Chokebastard cracks." We've heard it a thousand times. It's a useless post anyways.
I'm looking for opinions on sound(relative to people, I know. I LIKE the Flowmaster sound) or what a single chamber muffler might sound like on a MILD car, that has a 2 year (so it's good) cat. converter. Like....http://store.summitracing.com
Or another bullet style muffler, to fit my TSP cat back
Or should I just the over-axle section, and do a side exit, keeping my Magnaflow?

The flowmaster you have pictured is the "Outlaw Race" one right? It has attenuation rings around the circumference of the inner case. I've heard that they sound similar to the Dynomax Bullets, with more of a brassy sound, if that makes any sense. Its unrelated, but I can vouch for the "Delta Force" single chamber mufflers. The ones that look like a regular center in/out flowmaster, only there about 5in long. Those are mean as hell.
Sorry I couldent be of more help,

Sorry for the redundancy, didn't see the link to summit.

Here's what my duals sound like with an X-pipe and 2 Moroso spiralflows on it:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pcMrnqWe9ms
They're loud, though, real loud. Interestingly, though, they're quieter on the interstate than my old Flowmaster 80 was, and I LOVED the way that thing sounded, but this new sound is quite awesome. Sounds like a mustang in some ways.
They dont drone like my 80 did so they're actually QUIETER at highway speeds.
And just so you get an idea of how loud they are inside the car, here's a short clip of me driving around the block with them on. No hot doggin the car since it's a neighborhood, but I think you get the idea.

Im sure it'd sound a lot better if it wasnt a stock L03 with the peanut cam in it. It's just begging for some lope!

HAHA, did you set off that others cars alarm?
Sounds good though, why change it? Unless you just wanted something different.

It sounds good, no complaints there. Everybody tells me not to change it. It's what was on the car when I bought it. I just LOVE the old 40 series, 2 chamber Flowmaster sound, that's all.
