will mufflex 4 inch fit?

will mufflex 4 inch fit?
im looking at the 4 inch mufflex exhaust and am trying to figure out if it will fit MY car. i have a spohn torque arm and crossmember with the drive shaft loop. will it fit in the tunnel with that stuff there? and i will be putting a moser 12 bolt in and from pics ive seen it looks like it might not clear the axle housing. i do need the 4 inch system cause true duals are out of the question cause my car is lowered and i will be putting out probably over 600hp. thanks guys

Re: will mufflex 4 inch fit?
it WILL clear the 12 bolt but not a 9". As for the crossmember; if it fits its gonna have terrible ground clearance. Mufflex notches the y pipe but it is really meant for the stock cross member, as for clearing that beefier torque arm... my 4" pipe was pretty close to the stocker. Im sure it will require a little modification but will be well worth it cause they sound awesome

Don't know if it helps but I have the spohn tranny crossmember and torque arm and I run the 3.5" pipe just fine.

I want to see a pic of 3.5 or 4in. Sounds like it would look great. And how do the bends look for it.

Re: will mufflex 4 inch fit?
here is a picture of the tailpipe and muffler to give you an idea of how nice the bends are
the guys at mufflex say if you have the spohn cross member they can build you a custom y pipe but you have to take the car there and it will probably be more expensive

Re: will mufflex 4 inch fit?
wow im only about 1 and a half to 2 hours away from them but im not about to drive a 600 plus horse car with open headers there to get the y pipe made...lol dont think i would make it to far till i begin getting tickets left and right! i can get a shop localy to make me a y pipe i just want the single exhaust cause of my car being lowered. true duals on our cars sound nice but the car is to low even stock for them without smashing it all the time!. loli just need to know if it will clear the spohn torque arm and moser 12 bolt rear

Re: will mufflex 4 inch fit?
Irocterror you could always go with true duals that are oval if you're too worried about the crossmember and etc. Just a suggestion though

Re: will mufflex 4 inch fit?
i think having true duals on ur f body is a waste of time and money.u lose ground clearance and i dont think it sounds that great. u can go just as fast if u use a 4th gen style y- pipe with a 3 inch exhaust. my personal opinion and experience.
