Dump off the headers

Transmission: 700R4 with 2400 stall
Axle/Gears: 373
Dump off the headers

Has any one tryied to bolt the muffler on to the headers, then just use turndowns off the muffler?

That could be done for sure. It'll be LOUD in the car and out for that matter,but, yeah it can be done.

A 1 chamber Flowstopper would be all that will fit off of shorties. I see shorties is what youre using? That'll make it hard.

You wouldn't be able to bolt any muffler directly to shortys. Long tubes aren't much better with the transmission and front subframe rails in the way.

I've got longtubes on the way. Do you think the bullet type would fit good?

nothing will fit directly onto the header, you'd need a headmann S-bend pipe at the least....

i am running for the time beeing longtubes and flowmaster 10's and all i have is the headers s pipe and the mufflers on the s pipes and its very loud not much quieter than open headers but nicer sound. i added about 2ft of pipe b4 the mufflers and it made it sound a ton better and a lot quieter in car
