anyone ever made or bought a 4 to 5 inch oval exhaust system. for an F-body ... I've been thinking of at least a nice custom made 4 inch oval system for my car.

Re: Oval exhaust systems
What in the world are running, that calls for a 5" pipe? A diesel?
4" would be the most you'd ever need, and only approaching 600hp. Too big of pies, and you'll lose exhaust velocity, and cost you horsepower.

Re: Oval exhaust systems
IIRC, oval exhaust is measured at the wide part of the oval.. so 4" oval might be 3" round.. or 3.5"

Re: Oval exhaust systems
GTATransam...have you checked out spintech mufflers website? They offer oval bends that actually look like they'd go over the rear end easier / more clearance than 3" rounds. Just looking at them though, I haven't bought them......."yet".
