Picked the car up yesterday from Performance Auto Fabrication right outside of Baltimore, MD. The guy there does excellent work, very reasonable, really happy with the car. Got exactly what i asked for. Hedman Shorties, Y pipe, into dynomax bullet, into an edelbrock 304 stainless series muffler. Sounds great! I dumped the muffler right before the axle with a turndown. Lost little to no ground clearance as the spohn x-member is still the lowest part on my car. The car has a super deep tone to it, louder then an 80 series catback but not that much louder. Has a very different tone to it, lots of interior noise which maybe because the muffler is right underneath the back seat practically. I like it, it backfires some without a cat, shoots flames too but the backfiring is pretty minimal only on de-acceleration. Went with a bullet muffler in place of the cat.
I will have soundclips later this week of idle and drive bys! Overall very happy with this new muffler. I was leary with the edelbrock but there new series are pretty nice.

looks real good, would look better if there was another muffler next to it. I've always liked the 2 muffler look stopped underneath the car which can be seen from the back. Must be nice to actually have some ground clearance, too.

Thanks guys. Ya wish i had true duals...but just too much $ for not enough gain.
These mufflers are 3 5/8" perfect for this kind of setup which also helped my decision.
Its so deep sounding, i really like it. Sounds more refined.
Ill get sound clips later this week at the latest this weekend!
