go here to see my exhaust and read my sig.

I started my 383 this weekend and I could not believe how quiet the car is for what it is. Previously I had Edelbrock shorties, no cat, and an edelbrock SDT catback. Now the car is a little bit louder outside than it was. On the inside of the car is where it is really amazing. It is as quiet or quieter than the old cat-back. at 55mph and 2000rpm dad and I could talk comfortably inside the car. I am amazed at how quiet this exhaust is for how large the pipes are, straight through mufflers, and little dumps. I would recommed these mufflers to anyone, I PROMISE you will like them. The solution to extremely loud true dual setups has been found. Magnaflow is the answer!!
PS I'll try to get a sound clip of this asap, I hope it will do justice...

no but i will i would go with magnaflow hands down i have done a true dual 2.5 in setup with magnaflow mufflers and i agree with you.tho mine has a good rumble at idle and when u get on it it gets mean, but the interior noise is wicked low and you can actually hear things lol

I thought the point was to be as loud as possible. Me and my sidepipes think so...

I love my magnaflows.. yes deep and still quiet at idle but when you lean on the throttle they get really f-ing loud.. plus they were a great upgrade to the crappy turbo's that i had on it previously ..

I really want to hear a sound clip. I am getting really annoyed with my flowmaster!! It sounds great at idle and it sounds great at WOT, but during normal driving the droning sound is driving me mentally insane!!

haha, well keep your shirt on there Brisk, I'm taking the digital camera home tomorrow night to get a sound clip of the car. Hopefully it will at least somewhat capture the real sound of the car. You guys are going to crap once you hear how fast this thing revs...

Thanks for the update Brisk. I fixed the link in my first post, not sure why that died....
I do have a sound clip of the car now but it is not worth posting. The exhaust tone is so low that the mic on our little digital camera won't pick it up. In the video you can barely hear it run! It is just not worth posting for as poor as the quality is. Plus I cant get it to load onto Photobucket for some reason. I'll be getting it dyno'd soon and I'll try again to get a video then.
