I never see anyone ask about the Flowmaster outlaw, it is the absolute loudest next ti straight pipe, the one chamber sounds powerful, the spintech is a straight thru desighn.

I dont really like the sound of straight pipes which is what the outlaws or bullet s or any of those tube shaped mufflers are gonna soundlike. I figured at least with the 1 chambers its gonna be loud but still give a nice tone off.

I've heard both the mufflers you asked about, they are very similar in terms of loudness but the tone is a little different. I'd go with the Spintechs because I like the sound a little better and everyone has a flowmaster. I'm normally not an edelbrock fan but I'm running rpm series mufflers on my dual 3in system. it sounds great(nice low rumble) and is loud but not loud enough to get the cops called. I choose the rpm series mufflers because they are 3 5/8in thick, the spintechs and flowmaster you mentioned are 4in thick. Not much difference in thickness but I figured in a thirdgen you need all the clearance possible so I went with the thinnest 3in muffler I could find that wouldn't be too loud for street driving.
