i like the sound of magnaflow on all cars. And wit the flow through design its prob one of the top mufflers on the market, maybe second to borla.

Is it the stock one? Replace it. You'll be in for a real surprise when you take it off and realize just how restrictive that pipe is. There is a jagged 1" diameter hole where the Y-pipe meets.

So thats a dynomax i-pipe with a magnaflow muffler correct?

Is it the same I-pipe from the one summit racing has or a different one?

If its a different one please link me...I love the way your car sounds.

well on summit i found the dynomax i-pipe 3 inches. .

WLK-43248

and

WLK-44063

If you can please post pics.

I am not sure those are the same i-pipes you have on your car...do you know how big your muffler is. I always wanted a magnaflow tone to my car...i may buy the catback if time and money permits. However I don't think the magnaflow catbacks fit on my car.

How did this all work out for you Roach? I have a magnaflow muffler ordered and should be here in a few days, but I was going to have a muffler shop make up the I pipes for me (didnt know these pipes were made). How did it all fit togther, what headers did you use, and you didnt use a cat. right?

the forth gen kit will fit on a third gen but i think you have to modify the brackets.... and where it meets the cat... i have headman long tube headers and no cat.... i had an exhaust shop put it on.... the pipe was pre bent...
----------
those two pipes put together and the muffler that is what i have....

well I added up the price of the magnaflow muffler with those i-pipes, and it came up to about 280 dollars.

For that price I can order the Edelbrock system...

I like the way my car sounds now however, I just want a bit of a more rumble to it.

Edelbrock is good stuff, I really like their products.

I have been thinking for awhile that its either the edelbrocks or the hooker catback.

I dunno what I will do yet....I am not gonna see much of a gain over what I have now.

I just always wanted that magnaflow sound to my car.

When I used a fourth gen system(tsp rumbler) I moved the passenger side hanger to the drivers side and vise-versa.

Check out my site. It's hard to see, but you can see the hanger by the tranny.
https://mywebspace.wisc.edu/gmarsicek/web/Exhaust.htm

I also have a video of it on the car.

Thanks. Those pics helped a bit... Looks like you had the pin type hangers welded to the magnaflow kit. Which is what I might do as well...

Exhaust shop did it for me. Yeah they just rigged up some pieces of metal to hang it. It looks kinda ghetto but is solid as a rock.
