Magnaflow cats to Edelbrock TES
Hi all, first time post-er here!
I have read posts about people wanting to run the Magnaflow direct fit dual catalytic converter set-up for Camaros, but questioning if it will be a direct bolt-on to headers. (I have Edelbrock TES P/# 6876 installed on my car.) I purchased the Magnaflow system to replace the stock cat assembly, and it is top quality. It is NOT a direct bolt up to my headers. BUT, I found an excellent muffler man that made it work, with some custom cutting and welding, and the job came out looking like a direct fit! I am very pleased with the installation. The clearances are tight, but the system has clearance, and sounds great with my Flowmaster muffler. I live in Palmdale, CA. See Sergio's Muffler Service in Palmdale for a top-notch installation.
