Headers

I have looked for this answer but with no luck.

I am building a 355 for the 86 TA. The block is at the shop I got my heads now i am trying to find headers that will work for my application.

I have trickflow heads. i know that the hooker supercomps will work (so I have read) But i am looking into the Headman 68469 headers. will these headers work with these heads? accourding to the footnote "103 - Fits with angle plug heads (Chevy aluminum only)." This is a bit confusing. any info would be helpfull.

Thats funny you asked that. I did call them last week. there reply to my question was ... " these headers are for stock gm heads like the footnoe says" I said why won't they work. he said i should call the race devision.

So the idiot i spoke to was just that. I really don't want to spend the 400 for the hookers and the tube size is to big for my set up. imo

A rule of thumb is your headers should be 10% larger than your exhaust valve. So you have a 1.60" exhaust valve and that means you should have 1 3/4" headers.
