glass pack+resonated tip?
My car is an TA 85 lg4. 2 1/2 exhaust. the only mod is dual snorkel and a mild cam. Im thinking about replacing the chambered muffler wiyth a red hots glasspack. If it gets TOO loud ill use a resonated exhaust tip.
Please any thougts on this?

Most glass packs have only a 2" or 2.25" pass tube in the center. If you get a 2.5" it will have 2.5" ends swaged on but the center will still probably be a very small pass tube. Unless you know the pass tube is 2.5" you are probably going to hurt flow more than your stock exhaust already does.

I have been reading a couple of threads that mention glass packs. WHere do i get them, are they hard to install, does it improve performance. I think theres a clip of a car with glass packs on the media section sound clips. I got straight pipes with out any cats, will it be to loud? I live in the city.

They flow better than the worst flowing mufflers but a lot worse than the best flowing mufflers. You get what you pay for, they are $25 mufflers. They have a very flappy exhaust note that went out of style in the 80s when people actually started to do engineering on exhaust systems instead of just making straight tubes with fiberglass in them. There are way, way better alternatives.
