Flowmaster crackle with Dynomax system

After installing the 3" dynomax system with no cat or resonator, Ive noticed that when I go over 3k and let off throttle, it has that flowmaster "crackle" to it. I was wondering if maybe a dynomax bullet would help this eithout chaning the exhaust tone a lot. Low RPMs, it sounds great. smooth, strong but most of all quiet (sleeper). Im just afraid the bullet will quiet it too much, Im just looking to get rid of the crackle without restricting flow or changing the exhaust tone too much. What chu guys think?

have you checked to see if you're backfiring? I had a truck that did whenever i let off the gass and it just kinda crackled a little bit.

You can try a bullet, but that crackle will be present in any non-catted car.

Well, I got a non-hiflow 3" cat that I bought for whenever I try to get it to pass emissions. You sayin that I should try that first?

That is not necessarily true.

so can anyone verify that adding a bullet muffler will/wont help with the off throttle crackle above 3k?
