427 big block with 4-inch single exhaust
Here are some photos of my new 427ci big block exhaust. It's got 1 7/8" primary Hooker Super Comps flowing into custom 3" head pipes with a Flowmaster y-pipe and a 4" Mufflex system with a Flowmaster race series muffler.

Can we get more pics, maybe larger??? I have those exact headers, I am curious to see where they exit. Did you have to make any modifications to the floor pans?

Here are some more pics of the driver's side collector. The headers were in bad shape when I bought the car. The flanges were bent and leaking so I had them cut off. The dent in the collector is the lowest point in the entire system. A previous owner installed the headers, so I'm not sure what it took to get them to fit, however, there is evidence of some clearancing above the driver's side collector just outside of the frame rail.

The y-pipe is from Flowmaster and I ordered it from Mufflex. The 3" pipes from the header collector to the y-pipe were custom fabbed.
The car was lowered by the previous owner and I guess he removed the track bar support for clearance reasons. During driving, I don't notice that the support is missing. It's a street/strip type car with drag radials and skinnies, so I'm not cornering hard anyway. I will likely try the relocated BMR support bar at some point.
I've never posted a sound clip,, but if you give me some tips, I can try.
Thanks. -Neil

Thanks, I may go to a single pipe soon and I have the same headers...my support is out right now two (dual 3" over the axle) and I worry about how thin that leg that holds the panhard is, xspecially without the support now.
Sound clip would have to be hosted somewhere off third gen probably and hot linked to the thread, but it would be neat to hear that car withthe mufflex 4 inch
