The LOUDEST Muffler

I want to know what the loudest Muffler setup would be for a 3.1 V6. The Dynomax Super Turbo I currently have is not as loud as I want it to be. Hows Hooker, Flowmaster, Edelbrock, Flowtech and SLP compared to Dynomax mufflers?

BTW, I dont want to do glasspacks or cutouts so please dont suggest them

you should do a glasspack...just kidding...hahahahahahah ok it wasn't that funny.

Anywho, basically all the companies you just named are far better than Dynomax. Hooker is a pretty nice muffler, I would like to own one myself but I am happy with my bullet muffler. Down the road I may switch to a Hooker catback exhaust system. Just something I am keeping in mind.

As far as the other companies, Edelbrock is pretty good as well, and SLP is loud. Depends on what muffler you get from SLP but they are very loud.

If I were to recommend one.....Hooker is my choice, then Edelbrock.

is not funny, glass pack are a good way to go. very good sound that doesn't give away one hint that you got a v6 but...........

both my v8 and v6 car have a straight shot cherry bomb glass pack. but it could be your tail pipe. longer the tail pipe, the quieter n more mellow the sound. my v6 is much louder as it only has a short tail section after the muffler. V8 car has a full tail pipe from muffler to bumper and its very mellow. You would think I had a stocker muffler. both sound similar but the 6 is mucho louder.

Loudest I have heard is a SpinTech... I ran one on my car for a while but got tired of how freaking loud it was so I switched it out...

you want the loudest muffler? how about NO muffler. I don't understand your question, really. I also don't understand why you want the loudest muffler for a gutless V6. Why not throw an 18" doublestack spoiler on the rear while you're at it?

Loudest muffler = no muffler.
